About the Author

Ms. Kamenca has been deeply involved in healthcare services including serving as an executive for a non-profit public health organization and directing telemedicine services for two large hospital systems. For one large health system, she managed all aspects of the Arizona telemedicine solutions and then, was promoted to initiate telehealth projects for the corporate enterprise. Her key telehealth projects included video visits, teleradiology and image transfer solutions, secure messaging, remote patient monitoring, telepsychiatry, rural telemedicine implementations and other clinical innovation projects (like Google Glass for physician productivity.) At a separate health system, she directed their rural telehealth initiative and developed their eVisit program. Ms. Kamenca's background includes growing key business initiatives for a large pharmaceutical company, IBM, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and a Microsoft Solutions partner. She started and grew a small business that delivered consulting services to organizations including Allied Waste, Maricopa County, the Arizona Department of Transportation, and the City of Phoenix. Ms. Kamenca earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California where she was a Simonsen Fellow. She also recently completed a post-graduate Certificate in Healthcare Informatics from the University of Colorado, Denver.
