Born in 1959, he has published some thirty books of fiction, poetry, drama, and nonfiction since 1983.May-Brit Akerholt is a translator of Norwegian works, including Henrik Ibsen's plays, Jon Fosse's essays, and Ruth Lillegraven's poetry.
