Description

Forty, unmarried, and childless, high-powered attorney Jen Kramer fears she's missed the proverbial boat and needs a break from the rat race. While visiting a friend in Montana, she volunteers to teach a high school drama class and the experience unearths long-buried joy and unrealized talent. Periodic run-ins with the handsome, single dad of one of her students, as well as his adorable children, further knock her off balance. As she gets to know Dan and his family, she falls in love with each of them and finds healing from her turbulent past. Might they be the balm to an otherwise disappointing future, as well? Dan Edwards is instantly wary of the beautiful drama teacher his daughter idolizes. She reminds him way too much of his ex-wife. He has no intention of making the same mistake twice. But Jen Kramer is much more than she appears. She soon earns his respect and wins the affections of his children, though he's convinced she couldn't possibly remain content for long in a small town like Silver Springs. When she goes, will any of them recover from the broken hearts she's sure to leave behind?

About the Author

Gina Coon resides in Southern California with her husband and children. When she isn't writing she enjoys volunteering at her church and having fun with her family. For more than a decade Gina was defined as a (crazy) homeschool mom. When she retired from homeschooling she found herself at loose ends, unused to having time on her hands. As a little girl her head was filled with made up stories and that hasn't changed. An avid reader, she's always loved books and the idea of writing one. Deciding to capitalize on all those years of teaching and editing her kids' essays, she quietly started a project. She had no idea if she'd produce a decent paragraph let alone a whole book. Her first book was a huge personal achievement that launched a love affair with writing. Her Christian faith is often reflected in her stories. The main characters are generally good people with strong values and, of course, there is always a happy ending!
